I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1995. I was very green from a Catholic background, but God graciously saved me and called me to preach His Word. From 1996 to 2004, I served the Lord faithfully in evangelism for eight years, moving from village to village sharing the Gospel of salvation. In 2004, I obeyed God and started a church under a tree. For eight months, I fellowshipped alone without a single member joining us, but I did not give up. God was faithful and people began to come. Through members' contributions, we bought our first church land in 2009. This was a great miracle for us. In 2015, I registered Hope House Foundation Kenya to reach more vulnerable communities. In 2016, we started Hope and Light Academy Primary School to give education to poor children who could not afford school. Eventually in 2018, by God's grace, we built Hope's House Kenya Children's Home. Today, our ministry, We are trusting God to care for more than 500 orphans, giving them food, shelter, education and the love of Jesus. VOLUME 1: SIMPLE FOOD FOR A SPIRITUAL BABY LESSON 1: TRUE SALVATION 1. The True God We Surrender To The True God is the one Creator of everything - all-powerful, all-knowing, eternal, and full of love and justice. He is not made by human hands and He does not need us, but we need Him. To surrender our lives to Him alone means to trust Him completely, to obey His will above our own will, and to love Him with all our heart. We do this because He is the source of life, truth, and mercy, and only He can forgive us, guide us, and give our lives true purpose. Scripture: _"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." - Deuteronomy 6:5_ 2. What is Wrong Faith? Wrong faith is any belief or way of life that takes us away from the True God instead of bringing us closer to Him. It can be worshipping idols, money, power, or even ourselves. It can also be following traditions, superstitions, or teachings that tell us we can save ourselves without God, or that there are many equal ways that contradict God's truth. Wrong faith often focuses on fear, pride, or getting what we want right now, instead of focusing on truth, humility, and eternal life. Scripture: _"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death." - Proverbs 14:12_ 3. Why Wrong Faith Cannot Bring Us to God Wrong faith cannot bring us to the True God because it is not connected to the Truth. If you follow a wrong map, you will never reach the right destination. Only the True God can save us, so a faith that denies Him, replaces Him, or adds other gods beside Him has no power to save. True faith leads to love, peace, forgiveness and a changed life, while wrong faith often leads to confusion, selfishness, and emptiness. That is why we must seek the True God alone with a sincere heart. Scripture: _"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" - John 14:6_ My friend, allow me to share something urgent about the world we live in today — the condemnation of sinners and the reward of the saints. There is life after this earthly life. So I ask you: Where will you be after this life? You know about God, the Owner of the universe. He created you so that you may worship Him. It does not matter how many people ignore the Word of God or backslide; you alone will answer the question, "Did you accomplish what the Lord commissioned you to do?" To believe in God's only begotten Son, Jesus, is to secure eternity. Would you like to know about true salvation? Doing church activities cannot make you spiritually clean. Having a long history with the church or with a servant of God cannot make you righteous. Being born in a family that attends church every Sunday or Saturday still cannot give you eternal life. Salvation is a personal decision to receive Jesus Christ without depending on anyone. No matter how many people deny or accept Christ, you can stand firm and say that Jesus will remain Lord and Savior of your life. True salvation is when nothing can separate you from the love of Christ (Romans 8:35) True salvation is when you can answer these questions: a) Has your name been written in the Book of Life? b) Are your sins forgiven? c) If the Lord Jesus Christ came today to take His people, would you be among those who will meet Him? d) Do you have Jesus Christ in your heart? Meditate on this: 1. How many people will you miss in Heaven? 2. Why do people misuse these few years on earth to ruin millions of years of eternity? 3. How painful will it be to miss our loved ones in Heaven? 4. What are you doing to ensure people do not perish in everlasting torment? "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) "However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you." (Deuteronomy 28:15) "Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear." (Isaiah 59:1-2) "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." (Revelation 3:20) "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12) "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." (Romans 10:9-10) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17) "Therefore, 'Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.'" (2 Corinthians 6:17) "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation." (1 Peter 2:2) "Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25) "So watch yourselves. If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying 'I repent,' you must forgive them." (Luke 17:3-4) "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." (James 1:12) "It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions."(Matthew 24:46-47) If you have read these scriptures, you can now use your own understanding and faith to pray this simple prayer: _"My Father, thank you for your Son Jesus. I was lost but now I am found. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. From today henceforth, I am saved. Help me to overcome temptations, in Jesus' name I pray."_ Now, my brother and sister, you are saved. Your weapons are: reading the Word of God daily, praying every day, witnessing to others that you are now saved, and fellowshipping with other saints. After that, pray to receive the Holy Spirit and learn how to pray and fast.
