Rev. Kathleen Smith-Jones
Deacon

The Rev. Kathleen Smith-Jones is Grace's Deacon. Kathleen was raised in Baltimore County. An Episcopalian for over 40 years, she has always been active in parish and diocesan leadership including Lay Eucharistic Visitor ministry and Diocesan Council, and she also served as a hospice chaplain at Delaware Hospice. It's no surprise that the Holy Spirit called her into greater service to the Church and the world. Kathleen was ordained to the Vocational Diaconate on June 13, 2020, and serves as "Frederick Regional Deacon," a unique new ministry that allows her to more fully serve the needs of the community through partnership with several churches, including Grace, and All Saints' in Frederick. Outside of her ministry to the church, Kathleen is a wife, mother, grandmother and Donkey mom.
