Anemarie is a Synod Approved Minister (SAM) with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Having been an active member of the church, she was raised up by the congregation to provide pastoral care, lead worship, and build community with the congregation in Cave Junction. The SAM program supports spiritual growth, faith, and outreach through people who have the unique perspective of having been both members of the congregation and faith leaders. This grass roots ministry helps to connect worship leaders and congregations in new ways through common experience that leads to vibrant congregations that can better serve the needs of local communities.
