Sylvia Miller
Children and YouthSylvia Miller serves as Children and Youth Director at FCCLG. She joined us in August 2013.Sylvia is from a small town in southwest Missouri where her family owns a milk barn. She attended Drury University, graduating with degrees in Psychology and Religion. She moved to Chicago in 2009 to pursue her Master of Divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary. At McCormick, she served as chair for Women in Ministry and the Acts 10:15 LGBT Advocacy Group. Sylvia has worked with children in both a classroom and a camp setting. She shines at connecting with children on both spiritual and personal levels. She looks forward to using her experience and knowledge to help nurture FCCLG’s youth

Ryan Cox
Director of Music/Conservatory of MusicRyan Cox has been the Director of Music at FCCLG since 2003. He directs the choirs (adult, youth, and children), conducts the handbell choirs, and coordinates all things musical at FCCLG. Ryan was born and raised in Beverly, on the south side of Chicago. He graduated from Millikin University where he received degrees in Vocal Performance and Business Management. During his time at Millikin, he served as Music Director for Westminister Presbyterian Church in Decatur, IL. When Ryan is not at FCCLG, he sings with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Grant Park Symphony Chorus, Music of the Baroque, records for GIA Music Publishing, and performs solos in concert and oratorio. Ryan is also the Director of the First Conservatory of La Grange, housed at FCCLG.

Carly Stucklen Sather
Senior PastorRev. Carly Stucklen Sather was called to FCCLG in March of 2014. Carly was baptized and confirmed in the First Congregational Church (UCC) of Hinsdale, Massachusetts in 1977. She holds a degree in Accounting from Bentley University (Waltham, MA), a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy and Religion from Heidelberg University (Tiffin, OH), a Masters of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary (Indianapolis), and will soon complete her Doctorate of Ministry at Drew University (Madison, NJ). Additionally, she has studied with Eden Theological Seminary (St. Louis), the Beeson Leadership Institute, and the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center. Carly married her best friend, the Rev. Daniel Sather, in 1983. Together they have two sons, Andrew (Laurie), of Philadelphia, PA, and Aaron (Shannan), of Evansville, IN. Carly enjoys gourmet cooking, biking, refinishing antique furniture, and making lath art. Check out her blog and follow her on Facebook.
