Pastor Nelson and Regina met and married in Fort Lauderdale, Florida while serving as youth leaders at a local church in 1986. They ministered as lay leaders in various roles while Pastor Nelson completed his education & was ordained with the Assemblies of God. Pastor Nelson has a Master's degree in Ministry and has been pastoring full time since 1996. Pastor Regina is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and ministers at women’s events both nationally & internationally. In 2009, God led them to Texas to become the Lead Pastors of Plainview First Assembly. Their heart is to equip the church to reach its community and region with the love and compassion of Jesus. It is their passion to see people set free and living the abundant lives that God intended for them.
