    Rebecca Luter

    Rev. Rebecca Luter is pastor of Farmington Presbyterian Church in Germantown, TN, where she has served since April 2014. Prior to coming to FPC, she served as Lead Associate at Germantown United Methodist Church (2000-2014). She has spoken at regional and national church conferences including the National Evangelism Workshop of NetResults, the national gathering of Church Educator’s Fellowship of The United Methodist Church, and multiple United Methodist District Lay Training Events. She participated in leadership at the Presbyterian Women Fall Retreat in 2013 here at Pinecrest. She has consulted with multiple churches, particularly around issues of children’s ministry and child abuse prevention. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia and completed her undergraduate work at Rhodes College, where she majored in biology. She is currently working toward recognition as an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation, and works with Clergy Coaching Network coaching clergy clients. She and her husband, Chris, have two children, Nicholas who is 9 and Elizabeth who is 6. Rebecca is involved in the community as a member of the Rhodes Mastersinger’s Chorale, the 2011 Class of Leadership Germantown, and has served on the PTA Board of Germantown Elementary School. She enjoys reading, boating, swimming, singing, biomedical ethics, and travel.
