Steve Trewartha

Pastor Steve is the founding and senior pastor of FaithPoint Lutheran Church in New Prague, Minnesota. He has served as a pastor in the Lutheran Church for 25 years in Minnesota, North Dakota and Colombia, South America. Steve’s passion is helping people become all they can be through a living relationship with Jesus Christ. This means helping people come to faith, grow in their faith and live out their faith in ways God leads. Steve completed his undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, Master of Divinity degree at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ, and doctorate from Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, KY. Steve has been married to his wonderful wife Debbie, a teacher at New Prague Middle School, for 27 years and they have three children. He enjoys basketball, biking, playing guitar and fixing things when he is not spending time with his family.
