Dr. Greg Schuringa Senior Pastor

Dr. Schuringa has served as a pastor at Faith CRC since 2002, first alongside of Rev. Lee Koning, and then since the Fall of 2009 as Senior Pastor. Pastor Greg received both his M.Div. and Ph.D. from Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI. During his doctoral studies in historical theology he became convinced that the church of Jesus Christ desparately needs to cultivate both a rich orthodoxy and a deep, practical, spirituality not either/or! Grounded in God’s Word, walking in close step with the Spirit, combined with a heart for sharing the gospel and God’s people making a difference in this world that’s the winning formula for a biblically balanced church. Dr. Schuringa serves Faith CRC by being involved in the full range of typical pastoral responsibilities, but especially takes the lead in Preaching & Worship and the general Leadership & Administration of Faith CRC.
