    Sis. Krissy Fitzwater, like her brother, shares a rich heritage at Faith Heritage Tabernacle. An alumnus of Ozark Bible Institute, she brings both experience and enthusiasm to her calling in children’s ministry. Her vibrant personality and deep compassion make her a natural fit for leading young hearts toward Jesus—but it’s her unwavering passion that truly sets her apart. Sis. Krissy has a proven history of launching children’s ministries in other churches during her time as an intern, and she’s traveled extensively with Ozark’s outreach team, ministering through Kids Crusades and other child-focused evangelism efforts. Her greatest desire is to see every child who enters Kids Church encounter God in a real and personal way—and to make the life-changing decision to follow Jesus. At FHT, we believe no child is too young to experience the presence of God. Sis. Krissy lives out that belief every week, creating spaces where children feel seen, loved, and invited into a relationship with Christ.

    Bro. Samuel (“Bro. Sam”), brother of Pastor Thomas, serves faithfully as a Board Member at Faith Heritage Tabernacle. Sis. Shay is the dedicated secretary for both the church and our Christian school, bringing organization, grace, and a servant’s heart to everything she does. Together they emulate a spirit of availability—always stepping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed. Whether behind the scenes or on the front lines, their quiet strength and joyful service reflect a deep desire to see biblical truth lived out in every corner of FHT. Their ministry is marked by a simple yet powerful commitment: to show Christ and love people. And in doing so, they help build a church culture rooted in truth, compassion, and unity.

    Board member/Door to Door outreach leaders

    Bro. Billy Jones and his wife, Sis. Katrina (“Kat”), are a dynamic couple with a deep passion for biblical truth and a heart to share it with the community. Their commitment to outreach is evident through their leadership of FHT’s door-to-door ministry, PB and Jesus, where they bring the gospel—and a tangible expression of love—to homes throughout Vidor. Bro. Billy serves as a respected Board Member, helping guide the administrative and spiritual direction of the church. Sis. Kat also plays a vital role in our Christian school, where she teaches with grace, warmth, and a desire to see students grow in both knowledge and faith. Their love for God shines through every act of service, and their lives reflect a powerful testimony of truth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the mission of Faith Heritage Tabernacle.

    Men's and Women's Ministry leaders

    Bro. Charles and Sis. Rachel are passionate about cultivating meaningful fellowship among the men and women of Faith Heritage Tabernacle. Together, they create spaces where relationships flourish and hearts are strengthened in Christ. Bro. Charles emphasizes the importance of being a biblical husband and father, encouraging men to lead their homes with integrity and faith. As a valued Board Member, he also plays a vital role in the administration and stewardship of church business. Sis. Rachel brings a spirit of encouragement to the women of FHT, fostering connection and support through the fellowships we all cherish. She also serves faithfully in our Christian school as a beloved kitchen aid—nurturing students not only with meals, but with care. Their ministry reflects the heart of FHT: building strong families, uplifting one another, and creating a church community where everyone belongs.

    Youth Pastor

    A proud alumnus of Ozark Bible Institute and a young man deeply rooted in the life of Faith Heritage Tabernacle, Bro. Lee Jr. carries a passionate heart for people—especially the next generation. Having once been part of the youth group himself, he understands firsthand the importance of having leaders who are present, trustworthy, and inspiring. Bro. Lee is committed to being that kind of leader—someone young people can count on and look up to. With his upcoming marriage, he and his wife are excited to step into this new season together, continuing to shine the light of Christ and minister to the youth of FHT with love, authenticity, and purpose.

  • Thomas Hammond Jr

    Thomas Hammond Jr

    Pastor Thomas Hammond Jr. has deep roots in Faith Heritage Tabernacle (formerly Faith Assembly of God), where he grew up and has long been a devoted member. In 2010, he followed God’s call to Ozark Bible Institute and College in Neosho, Missouri. After taking a year off to marry his wife, Andrea, he returned to OBI and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Literature and a minor in Missions. In 2017, the late Rev. Jerry Smith invited Pastor Thomas and Andrea to join him in ministry as youth pastors. Since then, Pastor Thomas, Andrea, and their two sons have faithfully served the church and the Vidor community—living, working, and loving alongside the people of Faith Heritage Tabernacle for over eight years. Pastor Thomas warmly invites you to be part of what God is doing at FHT.
