Evergreen United Methodist Church

At Evergreen United Methodist Church we celebrate spiritual diversity. We hope that an evangelical and a Buddhist well along the path to enlightenment would equally feel welcome here. Any belief except exclusion and intolerance may be expressed freely here. We worship through prayer, silence, music, poetry, preaching, reflection and sharing our heart's challenges and joys. On the third Sunday of the month our Interfaith group, Sacred Space, meets to share spiritual practices such as drumming, chanting, prayer, meditation, storytelling in an inclusive, loving circle free of dogma.

Church can happen anywhere. It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.

Evergreen is a part of the California-Nevada Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
