Evergreen Presbyterian Church

Our family came to Wheeling Pres. in 1955, where my Dad brought in a Hammond Organ, upon which I began a long life in music ministry. We made the move to the new building (the one I see in your picture) around 1960. I loved playing there, safe and secure, during a thunderstorm, in the choir loft beneath the roof which was designed like an upside-down ship's keel. Rev. George Ekstrom was our pastor, a gracious, gentle person. My wife Laurel and I now serve with the Kelso United Methodist Presbyterian Church, where we lead and create music in various ways.
