    Dr. Morris Jenkins, Jr.

    Dr. Morris O. Jenkins, Jr. was born on November 18, 1966 in Beaumont, Texas to Lillian and Morris Jenkins, Sr. He attended public schools in Beaumont and furthered his education at Prairie View A & M University, where he received a Bachelor Degree in 1989 and a Master Degree in 1991 in Agricultural Science. He also received a Master of Divinity Degree in 1996 and a Doctor of Ministry Degree in 1999 from Houston Graduate School of Theology. He was employed by Texas A&M University as a Director of Urban Horticulture for nine years. Dr. Jenkins has been married to his wife Marsha for 24 years, and they have two sons, Keeon and Jarrett. His professional and ministerial backgrounds include the following: Pastor of Ellis Memorial Church of God in Christ “The Haven of Hope” in Houston, Texas Superintendent of the Northwest Houston District of the Texas South Central Jurisdiction Director of Higher Ground Community Development Corporation, an affiliate of Ellis Memorial Church of God in Christ Executive Secretary of the Texas South Central Jurisdiction under Presiding Bishop Prince E. W. Bryant, Sr. Recipient of the 2010 “Outstanding Minister Award” at the 52nd Annual Ministers Conference held at Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, Texas Television ministry which broadcast every weekday at 4:30 am on Houston’s Channel 55 “MegaTV”. President and CEO of Jenkins Multiservices Corporation Committee Member and Teacher at the Church of God in Christ 2011 Leadership Conference in Birmingham, Alabama Vice Chairman of the Church of God in Christ 2011 National AIM Convention held in Houston, Texas
