Taylor Phelps

Rev. Taylor R. Phelps was born in Dawson Springs, Kentucky in 1986 to James and Connie Phelps. His calling to preach came at the age of sixteen, while finishing out his high school years he strongly prayed about where to attend college. Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, Kentucky, was the location God had prepared for Phelps. This is where he met and married his wife Andrea in 2006. Pastor Taylor served as youth pastor and minister of music of the First Baptist Church of Harrogate, Tennessee while attending college. Andrea completed her course of studies at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in 2008, and furthered her education at Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky and in 2010 both Taylor and Andrea finished degrees. Taylor earned a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries and Andrea graduated with a M.A. in Elementary Education. Pastor Taylor accepted his pastorate, with a unanimous vote, at Dryden just a month after graduation. The following December their first child was born, Clayton Andrew Phelps.
