My husband and I were fairly new in Evangilistic ministry . Been preaching for several yrs under the Pastorship and guidance of Rev James Boren at the Gosnell PCG. Known at this time. Now is under Pastorship of Rev Bobby McDaniel.We received a call from Rev W.W.King who was pastoring at the time at Dora PCG.to come and hold them a Revival. This was in about 1990-91. I believe. A mother in the Lord to us. Rev. Lavern Holbrook. Came with us at our invitation. The three of us would pray and fast earnestly who was to preach each night. She only preach once during that week God used her in the alters and to richly support us . This was the greatest Revival we ever were so privileged and blessed to hold. God used us all in ministries we had not fully accepted or fully understood yet. We had known Bro Weaver for years .since our teenage yrs.he and Sister Weaver had watched us grow. Showed us so much love and support. They helped us to be who we are today at the age of 73. He wanted us to move there and help them with the church. My husband only had exporters license at the time. I had none. Sadly my husband has passed away recently. And one thing I promised was to visit the blessed little church again to see how she has grown. All the yrs we felt like we were bring pulled back. But with our jobs and children it just never came about. But that little church has and will always have a place I my heart. In our constant prayers. ❤️
