Alan and Kari Jones

Co-pastors of Connection Community Church, Kari and Alan are ordained United Methodist Elders who pastored individually before hearing the call to plant a church in Middletown and lead the congregation together. They deliver the sermon in a back-and-forth style that complements the contemporary and dynamic worship. Prior to entering the ministry, Kari worked as a registered nurse in critical care and hospice, and Alan taught high school English for four years followed by 14 years as an agent and sales manager in the insurance field. Their family includes daughter Erin and her husband, Kyle, daughter Megan and her husband, Ted, daughter Devon and her husband, TC, and son Turner. Grandchildren Isabella, Jacob, and Adaline bring them lots of joy! In their spare time, hanging out with family ranks first. After that, Kari enjoys the beach and reading and Alan watches the Phillies and movies. Kari and Alan are not afraid to go outside the normal church boundaries and are passionate about connecting people with Jesus and the life He offers.
