Rich Doebler

Rich has a heart to see God’s Word communicated in relevant ways. Before coming to Cloquet in 1997, Rich pastored churches in Texas and Minnesota. He also served as associate editor and contributor to the Quest Study Bible (originally published by Zondervan in 1994). For six years he was an associate editor for Leadership magazine, a quarterly journal for pastors. In full-time ministry since 1974, Rich and his wife, Sharon, have enjoyed 39 years of marriage and are the parents of three grown children, Nathan, Micah, and Jennie—and the grandparents of Ethan. Rich enjoys a good cup of coffee and dabbles in photography, camping, canoeing, biking and snowshoeing—although not necessarily in that order. He has degrees from the University of Minnesota (B.A. Biology), North Central Bible College (now University) (B.A. Bible and Pastoral Studies), and Pepperdine University (M.A. Religion).
