Matthew Farabow

Rev. Dr. Matt Farabow is a native of Thomasville, N.C. and a graduate of Westchester Country Day (1986), Guilford College (B.S., 1990), Duke University (M.Div., 1996), and Drew University (D-Min. in Congregational Growth and Development, 2012). He is the Senior Minister at Christ United Methodist Church of High Point in July, 2010. His previous ministerial appointments were: Senior Minister, Shiloh UMC, Lexington, 2004-2010; Pastor, Baltimore UMC in East Bend, 2001-2004; and Associate Minister of Youth, Young Adults, and Congregational Life at Centenary UMC in Winston-Salem, 1996-2001. He is married to Amanda Spillman Farabow, and they have four children; Sydney (14), Jordan (13), Kenton (12), and JT (12). For fun, Matt enjoys fly fishing, golf, the beach, exercise, and reading.
