Whether you prefer a relaxed atmosphere or the beauty of traditional Lutheran worship, you'll hear the same biblical message, experience the same warm welcome, and be invited into the same Christ-centered community. 9:00 a.m. – Relaxed Lutheran Worship Enjoy a welcoming, relaxed worship experience with Scripture, a message proclaiming God's grace in Christ Jesus, a Children's Message, Holy Communion, and contemporary arrangements of familiar hymns and worship songs led by our worship ensemble of piano, drums, and vocalists. If you're looking for a comfortable, informal atmosphere while experiencing the richness of Lutheran worship, this service is a wonderful place to begin. 11:00 a.m. – Traditional Liturgical Worship Experience the beauty of traditional liturgical worship with timeless hymns, inspiring biblical teaching, Holy Communion, outstanding choral music, and the majestic sound of our pipe organ. If you appreciate tradition, rich musical heritage, and a worship experience rooted in centuries of Christian faith, you'll feel right at home. Not sure which service you'll enjoy most? What is the community like?
We're an authentic, welcoming community where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to worship, grow in faith, and care for one another. Our congregation is a truly metropolitan church including neighbors from South Baltimore as well as individuals and families from communities throughout the greater Baltimore region who have found a home at Christ Church. You don't have to have life all figured out to feel at home here. Whether you're visiting church for the first time, returning after many years, or looking for a new church family, you'll be greeted with a warm smile and invited to become part of a community that seeks to love God, love our neighbors, and walk through life together.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are still welcome at Christ Church. Faith is a journey, and everyone begins that journey from a different place. Some people who visit Christ Church have been lifelong Christians, while others are exploring faith for the first time, asking questions, or coming from another religious tradition. We welcome honest questions, thoughtful conversations, and the opportunity to learn from one another. You are invited to worship with us, participate in our community, and explore what Christianity means in a welcoming environment where you will be treated with respect and care. You don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through our doors. We believe meaningful conversations about faith help all of us grow.
