I have 4 great loves in my life; my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the most amazing, beautiful, gifted woman in the world, my wife Ishtar and a our two precious gifts, our little man, Royce and our little princess, Ilaria. I strive to live my life to honor these relationships and to love others with the same love I have received. One of my favorite things in the world is to hear people’s stories, what has made them who they are. Every person has walked down a unique path that has shaped them and grown them into the blessing they are. I think about the words of Paul in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” The Greek word for workmanship is poiema which literally translates work of art, so we are God’s works of art, created in Christ Jesus to do good works. I love to see how God the Master Artist is working on every person’s canvas, their lives. While we are not simply a compilation of our experiences, I believe that God uses these to shape us and make us more like Him. The common thread through all of my life is people. I am motivated by the desire to see every person walking in God’s desire and purpose for them no matter their chosen profession. I know what it is like to be a person that does not believe they will ever accomplish anything or make a difference in the world and to see Jesus intersect my life and forever be changed. God looks at every person and sees their potential and that is what I attempt to do, have God sized glasses that look at who people can be not just who they are. I have had the privilege of living in a number of different cultures and experiencing people in their world. I have owned and operated businesses, worked in construction, been through seminary and tried to be a good friend. I presently have the privilege of being the lead pastor of Revolution Church, in Cambridge, Massachusetts which meets at Lesley University's Brattle Campus in Harvard Square. We are a community of people who are striving to love Jesus and love one another the way He desires us to. If you have a story, we want to hear it. If you have a dream, we want to encourage it. If you desire a community, we want to be it. If you need a friend, give us the opportunity. On a personal note… I have an affinity for adrenalin, whether that is bungee jumping, mtn. biking or swinging on a swing set. I love most sports, especially surfing, snowboarding, volleyball, cycling and dodgeball. I have been seen doing a few triathlons in the past and could be encouraged to run bandit in the Boston Marathon. We have recently relocated from Southern California to the right coast and love Cambridge and all that encompasses.
