In 1997, I was a drug addict, broken and lost. I had wrecked my life. It was there that Jesus found me. In His kindness, He brought me into a good church, gave me great friends and slowly began to rebuild my life. Jesus has changed everything. Almost 20 years later and I am a totally new person. These good days, I am the senior pastor here at Calvary Church. I am ordained in the Reformed Church in America and have my Masters of Divinity from Western Seminary. I co-wrote, Compassion without Compromise: how to love your gay friends without losing the truth and, Hope for the Same-Sex Attracted. I have been married to my wife Amy for 16 years, have 4 boys, love to run and live in Orland. And I love the Chicago Cubs! I regularly blog at my website.
