St. Nicholas Orthodox Church
About Us
We are a small, welcoming family-centered community of Orthodox Christians from all parts of the globe. Some of us are emigres from Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Bulgaria and other Orthodox nations, while others are American converts to Orthodoxy. We have all found the "Pearl of great price" in the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Eastern Orthodox Christian Church. We are a parish of the Chicago diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.
The Divine Liturgy and other services are performed in English, with some Church Slavonic and Russian.
We gladly welcome visitors and inquirers and always have a complimentary meal on Sunday to get acquainted.

DebraI have been a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church for almost 4 years now. It has been the answer to decades of prayer and searching for a genuine, fully Christian worship experience and real community in a church. Russian Orthodox Christians, especially, will feel right at home at St. Nicholas. For those not acquainted with Orthodox services it may be a little like stepping back in time or traveling to an exotic foreign land---not a bad thing at all for the adventurous, but could be daunting and a bit overwhelming for some. Just come early, introduce yourself (if our friendly members don't introduce themselves first!), meet our wonderful pastor, Father Seraphim, settle in and prepare for a beautiful service full of Christ centered worship, scripture and angelic music. I can't say enough good things about St. Nicholas. 'Come and see!'

DavidSt. Nicholas in McKinney has great services that are mostly in English but also with parts in Slavonic. It is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of ancient Christianity and to meet a lot of friendly people as well. We have a lunch together after the services so come visit and stay awhile! AntonWonderful services. Fr Seraphim is a great priest, every Sunday homily gives me something, tells me something I didn't know or feel before. We had our newborn daughter baptized here last year. We live in Southlake, kind of a long drive, but love to come here on Sundays.
