Contemporary, simple philosophy, discipleship oriented

CTW is a small but growing church with a simple vision statement: Connecting people to God, to one another, & to the community. We believe that the Great Commission is centered upon making disciples. We are a multi-cultural church and all are welcome. Our dress code is casual, our praise & worship music is contemporary, our youth & young adults are urban minded, our Bible study communities are small group oriented, & the preaching is expository in format. We love Jesus and we fear mis-representing Him!

What to Expect

What are services like?
The order of service changes from service to service. We use presentations & graphics (proclaim software) where surveys, calendar events, and sermon Scripture verses are shot through signals to smart phones. The music is up-beat and energetic, but also slow with worship in mind. Expect a lot of love (seriously); the people love on people, wether Christians or not.

What is the community like?
The immediate community is lower income and multi-cultural. It's awesome - we have caucasian families living next door to Latino & African American families. It's also multi-generational, with folks of all age groups living in close proximity with one another.

What if I'm not a Christian?
CTW is open to all people and we welcome folks regardless of their beliefs. We never compromise our own postion as Christians born of God's Spirit, and we hope that folks are seeking God. But, we do get people that are looking for friendships and connections, and not necessarily seeking to become a Christian. We give all people the utmost respect; yet, the gospel is preached with authority and power. If a person is not a Christian, we hope they are touched by God through us.
