Racine Taylor Avenue Church of the Nazarene

About Us

A Multicultural Community that Loves God and Loves People

MISSION/PURPOSE:

To Love God with our whole being and to share the life changing Love of Christ by impacting our community through kingdom living.

VISION:

A multicultural congregation that moves beyond its walls and embodies the kingdom of God on earth; demonstrating to its neighbors what it means to be part of a community which journeys life together, loves God completely, loves one’s neighbor as one’s self and which grows in Christ-likeness as one family

We Embody Our Mission:

WORSHIP [Sunday Morning Worship, Special Services]

We believe in a sold out loving relationship with God that drives our desire to worship Him.

GROW [Weekly Bible Studies, Prayer Ministries, Etc.]

We are called to be Holy and we strive to grow deeper in our relationship with God through spiritual disciplines and discipleship.

CONNECT [Men’s/Women’s Ministries, Small Groups, Affinity Groups, Etc.]

We are a community that journeys together – cries and laughs together. We do this through opportunities to connect and share life together.

SERVE [Teaching, Volunteering, Etc.]

God has “equipped us all to works of service, to the building up of the body of Christ” – we seek to serve each other through various ministry opportunities.

GO [Outreach Ministries, Compassionate Ministries, VBS, Etc.]

We are church beyond our walls. We seek to share Christ’s love through our actions within our immediate neighborhood.

SHARE [Evangelism Ministries, Special Service, Etc.]

Being the Kingdom of God is inviting people into a life changing relationship with Christ. We seek opportunities to share the message of hope and healing in Christ.
