What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome everyone. God does not exclude. We are an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ. This means there is no one that is excluded from the life or leadership of Park Church. We are of course human, and we all have our barriers, but as a matter of policy and practice, there is nothing about who God made you to be that could exclude you from full participation at Park Church. In November of 2011 both the Board of Trustees and Board of Deacons voted unanimously to approve the following as our official Open and Affirming Statement. As Jesus demonstrated by his life and teachings we fully welcome into the life of Park Church and value all people regardless of beliefs or doubts, age, color, gender, sexual orientation or identity, physical, mental, or emotional ability, or economic status. In fact, we value and celebrate the rich diversity of all God’s creation. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!
