Lighthouse Baptist Church-
About Us
We are a people on journey following God. Like Abraham, the Old Testament patriarch, we seek to follow God where He leads. It is an exciting journey. Each day is different. Some days bring adventure and opportunities, others fear and challenge. Our prayer is that as God's people, we will be faithful. As a body of believers we share this mission: 1) We believe in the importance of worship. Both the Old and the New Testaments place a high priority on worship. Our first and most important responsibility as believers is to bow in the presence of a Holy God. 2) We believe in the "equipping of the saints". God has called each believer to ministry. We believe part of our responsibility as a church is to equip believers to serve. 3) We are held to the responsibility to make evangelism a priority. Jesus commanded His disciples to go into the world with the message of the gospel.
I trust that you will find this site helpful as you get to know us better. If you are planning a visit to the north east Kansas area, we invite you to be our guest. If you live in the our area and are seeking a church home, we invite you to join us for worship and Bible study.
