What to Expect

What are services like?
Real! In worship, our eyes are opened and we encounter Jesus Christ. We hear Christ speaking to us as we read the Scriptures, sing, pray, and receive the sacraments of communion and baptism. Both services follow the same order, with the same music and the same sermon. Services begin at 8:30 AM and 10 AM.

What is the community like?
We long to be disciples of Jesus Christ who seek to know him and to walk with him through all of the seasons of our lives, sharing our faith stories in small group settings. We celebrate God’s grace through worship, Christian education, spiritual deepening and outreach to the community and the world. We extend God’s hospitality to all through ministries of healing, reconciliation, evangelism and justice.

Wherever you are on your journey of faith—just starting the trek, or traveling a long time—Laguna Presbyterian Church is here for you. We’re not about everyone thinking the same thing or behaving alike; we don’t expect everyone to be at the same point.

There is a poster or painting hanging in the downstairs room where my granddaughter had her Eagle Scout of Honor in Spring if 2023z this picture depicts Jesus’s Last Supper and each disciple around the table is depicted in a different race. I have never seem it’s like and I will never forget it. It told me all I wanted and needed to know about that church. How I wish I could find one like it for my church. Rev.
