First Lutheran Church

First Lutheran in Northwood, Ia. is a large church in physical size. The sanctuary seats 500 people and there's a balcony and choir loft, also. In addition, there is a Chapel that seats 100 people on the main level. On the lower level there is a large Fellowship Hall and a spacious Fireside Room. On the upper level there are two large Sunday School areas, a Movie Theater, and a Nursery. In addition to the traditional service on Sunday, the church also offers a non-traditional service on Wednesday evenings in which around 100 people attend. Over the last two years an outstanding sound system has been added in stages into various parts of the church. A fabulous staff with many talents is one of the church's biggest assets.
