Zion is a small congregation serving the Glenbrook area of Stamford. Over one hundred years old, Zion has a tradition of caring for the community. Zion continues to be committed to our neighbors through a variety of outreach programs for those around us.
Our Sanctuary has been featured on tours of Stamford's most beautiful churches, with special consideration given to our intricate stained glass windows. We describe our worship style as traditional with contemporary elements, and our congregation as warm and caring. If you are new to the Stamford area, we would love to have you join us!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Enhancing our weekly worship services with music ranging from the classical to today's modern hymns, Zion's 15 member choir meets for 20 minutes before the service and following fellowship on Sundays. The choir welcomes new members at all times. Why not come and raise your voice in glory? Direct inquiries to Brian Muller.

What is the community like?
We are a warn and welcoming community of mostly older worshipers eager to encourage visitors to join us in our ministry of worship, education and community service in the name of Jesus Christ

What if I'm not a Christian?
A Bible class which explores the basics of the Christian Faith and the Lutheran Church. Newcomers and people from various religious backgrounds are invited to enjoy a time for learning, spiritual renewal, and making new friends. This six week study is offered several times a year.
