Friendly, Have two worship options: Blended Traditional and Contempory

Yorktown UMC is an older church but wishes to connect with people of all ages. We offer a blended traditional service and a contemporary service. We enjoy being an active part of Yorktown with Community dinners, and activities, and we serve a community meal once a month to persons who need to get out and or have a place to get something to eat at the end of the month.

11:30am: We have two services: First Service is a Blended Traditonal Service. Our Second Service is contemporary that we call our GPS Servcie {God's Direction for LIfe}

What to Expect

What are services like?
The services are friendly, We offer lessons from the bible. We utilitze technology in both worship services. The preaching is a teaching, encouraging style. You will be welcomed and received by the people who are already attending.

What is the community like?
The church community is currently an older congregation but is open to having people of all ages come and we are working on ways to encourage new persons to join us. We have persons of all walks of life attending our worship, but that is not the focus of our time together. We want to help people become disciples of Jesus Christ and have their lives changed in the process

What if I'm not a Christian?
You will be welcome. You will be accepted from where you are. You will be encouraged to join a group. We will walk with you in faith journey and help you along in your walk. In our second service, we have a place where people can ask a question. Pastor is very happy to visit and talk with you about your particular situation and help answer questions you may have as you come to worship.
