Word & Prayer Fellowship

Who We Are

Bible-Based, Holy Christian Living

Our goal as a fellowship is to return to the time-tested, traditional faith that was first practiced and urged by the early church, as seen in the book of Acts. Word & Prayer's sermons contain Bible-based messages and verse-by-verse studies of Biblical texts.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Word & Prayer Fellowship’s services consist of congregational singing, prayer, Bible study and warm Christian fellowship. Videos, streaming audio, and MP3 downloads of Word & Prayer's sermons and teachings are available online: www.wordandprayer.org

What is the community like?
Word & Prayer Fellowship offers a friendly, intimate setting. We're a small congregation but, like David before Goliath, mighty through God. The people that fill our seats know the power of prayer and employ it. If you have a need or a heavy burden on your heart, we at Word & Prayer would like to bear that burden with you and bind our faith with yours, believing our Saviour for a testimony.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We all, at one time, were not Christians either. We know what it's like to have walked without Christ. If you're seeking a personal relationship with God and are interested in a better understanding of His Word, Word & Prayer would love to help you in any way we can, be it through prayer, encouragement or personal testimonies.

Charles "Chick" Salliby
Pastor

Reverend Chick Salliby traveled as an evangelist for 20 years, preaching and teaching the Word of God throughout the New England area. In 1998, brother Chick returned to minister in Rhode Island, and Word & Prayer Ministries began holding verse-by-verse Bible studies on Friday evenings. Four years later, Rev. Salliby felt God’s leading to pastor a church, and Word & Prayer Fellowship officially began holding services on January 6, 2002. Chick Salliby is the author of two books, “If the Foundations be Destroyed” and “Yet So as by Fire.”
