What are services like?
We are fairly traditional with singing, prayer for needs, and preaching of the Word. Our praise team includes keyboards, drums, guitars and back-up singers. There is an occasional charismatic manifestation (tongues, interpretation of tongues, works of knowledge, etc.). Sometimes there is an "altar call" and/or usually some type of response time. One thing we do that may be unusual is we usually take a 5 to 7 minute break before preaching begins.

What is the community like?
We are mostly blue collar with a few professionals mixed in. We encourage small groups - both inside and outside the church. We have an effective jail and prison ministry. Our goal is to have a staffed transitional living facility by the end of 2013 for those coming out of incarceration. We are informal in our dress - jeans are appropriate. The Pastoral Staff wear suits only on special occasions such as baptisms or baby dedications or holidays.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Non-believers are welcome here. We are a very welcoming and loving congregation. Many of our church family have come out of very difficult life circumtstances. Many of our people have come from non-church backgrounds.
