David Sayne

Pastor David Sayne leads Wildwood Baptist Church with his experience of over 35 years in ministry. Pastor Sayne received his undergraduate degree from Belmont University, in Nashville, TN, prior to obtaining his Masters Degree in Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, in Mill Valley, CA. He was ordained and licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in 1980 at his home church in Knoxville, TN. He began full-time ministry as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Music at Immanuel Baptist Church, in Antioch, CA. He eventually took on the role of Senior Pastor and led the congregation for 7 years. After leaving Antioch, Pastor Sayne returned to Knoxville, TN, where he served as the Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church of Fountain City. He served in this role for 2 years before his calling to leave Tennessee to become the senior pastor of Wildwood Baptist Church, in Bethesda, MD. Pastor Sayne started his ministry at Wildwood Baptist Church on April 1, 1998, and has faithfully led this congregation for the past 14 years.
