We are a small, vibrant spiritual community in beautiful Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. EVERYONE is invited to join us, regardless of affiliation, age, race, lifestyle or anything else. We all share a faith in Jesus Christ, but The United Methodist Church encourages us to think for ourselves, so we don’t necessarily share the same opinions about every faith issue or social concern. But we are a family, we care for each other as we care for our community and our world.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Worship at Wellspring is alive! When we worship, we expect something to happen. We expect to meet God in this place at this time. In our worship we… Draw Near to God through opening songs and prayers. Encounter God through special music, scripture, the Word for the Young at Heart, and the weekly Message. Meet God at Christ's table in Holy Communion, in healing prayer, in Sharing the Peace of Christ by reminding one another that, "God loves you and there's nothing you can do about it!" Respond to God through our gifts and offerings, our music, our personal involvement with this community of faith and our commitment to bring Christ's light out into the world through both our words and our actions. Worship at Wellspring is informal - come as you are!

What is the community like?
We are a small church, small but mighty! We help people grow spiritually and also focus outwardly with mission work and community outreach. Our congregation is racially mixed, we have "mature" folks, young families, singles, etc. We are there for each other no matter what.
