Who We Are

Washington Park United Methodist Church is a wonderfully creative, energetic church, engaged with life. We are an inclusive community of faith, accepting people as they are, growing toward fullness of life with God's creation, through living the teachings of Jesus Christ: Love, Justice, Mission and Hope.

Believing that all people are a part of the family of God, we invite you to join us for worship, service, fellowship, and growth in your spiritual journey. We welcome you regardless of race, gender, class, age, dress or orientation. Whoever you are, wherever you are in your life, you are welcome here.

From babies to seniors; from Colorado to South Africa; from Bible study to worship; from family camping to hay rides; from support groups to serving meals to the homeless--here is what it means to be a Community of Faith.

Our Services

What are services like?
We invite you to grab a cup of coffee in our Parlor before you come in, take a seat by someone who don't know and get to know someone new. Our services run traditionally but with open-mindedness and very child friendly. Our choir leads us in contemporary and traditional hymns.

What is the community like?
We have young families, people who have been here for a year and people who have been here for 60 plus. We are multi-generational, and inclusive. Our members live in the Wash Park area as well as travel from Highlands Ranch, Aurora, Park and Glenwood Springs. We are always excited for new faces.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome you anyway. Grab a cup of coffee, meet some new people, and learn more about our Christian values and who we are as a community.
