  • Walnut Baptist is near Vance, Mississippi in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. It was my church when I was a little boy from approx 1944 until I graduated from high school in 1959. My class from the Walnut. Vance area was the 1st one to graduate from Lambert High.
    Walnut Baptist was a very important part of our farming community and provided great spiritual values to all who attended. Loved going to Vacation Bible School and the all-day singing. This church touched many lives and I hope it survives many more years. I was baptized there in 1951 or 1952 when I was age 10 or 11. God Bless Walnut Baptist!!
