The best decision Josh ever made was to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him. That decision led to a new birth and he was "born again" on the third Thursday of October, 1992. The Lord tenderly led him from a world of street gangs and insecurity to a loving spiritual family and a solid foundation in Him and His Word. The second best decision Josh ever made was to ask a Tennessee born girl with a gentle heart and a love for God to be his bride. God blessed him beyond measure when she said 'yes'. Rev. Blair now shares life with his sweetheart which he doesn't feel he deserves... Over the years the LORD has blessed the Blairs with three loving boys and a precious little girl. His plan for their family is simply marvelous. God has taken our Pastor's family all over the world in service to His Kingdom. They've been able to serve the Lord in such places as Israel, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Ohio, Brooklyn and most recently Manhattan. They've been serving here at Wadsworth Avenue Baptist Church for ten years now and are often reminded that His plan for them is always the best plan. We've seen God save countless souls and have witnessed hundreds baptized as He has continues to grow His church here in Washington Heights. We hope you'll allow us the privilege of meeting you soon and speaking some relevant Truth into your life. It is sure a blessing to be about our Fathers business! -Rev. Joshua D. Blair
