Julie Boleyn

Pastor Julie Boleyn was ordained and called to serve as pastor Unity Lutheran Church of Berwyn in January, 2012. Prior to receiving the call at Unity, Julie worked as the Vision Catalyst at Resurrection Lutheran Church. Pastor Julie also coordinates the Stewards of Abundance program at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, engaging students in creative and innovative discussions about their theology of stewardship and their lived experience. She also serves on the board of Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries. ELM works for the full participation of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in the life and ministry of the Lutheran church. Pastor Julie graduated with a BA from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash., and received an MDiv from LSTC in 2010. She has previously worked in fundraising, and software development.
