Who We Are

Expository Teaching.

we are affiliated with the southern baptist denomination. Average attendance is around 100. We strongly believe the Bible to be infallible and every word inspired by God. We endeavor to accurately teach the full council of God. Most of our members are fairly new christians that were not raised in the church. I could go on and on with the blessings God has shown us in our years together but I'll just say you would have to visit and see for yourself the changed lives.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Service starts at 10 am. Pastor Derek Wright welcomes everyone, one of the children reads a passage of scripture. Congregation goes around greeting each other for 5 mins or so. Praise and Worship music. Contemporary and some traditional. No crazy mood altering stuff. All music is chosen by one of the Elders, who is the worship leader. All music is songs which glorify God. Sermon immediately follows congregational singing. nursery age children thru 8th grade can go to Sunday school during the sermon. Parents choice. Expository Sermons. Pastor teaches verse by verse thru a book of the Bible. Church dismisses.

What is the community like?
People who have been there and done that so to speak and have been drawn by God and are striving to grow in Christ and leave the old life behind. Very loving and supportive atmosphere. The people are not looking for man centered theology. They love to know the full counsel of God and look to dig deeper into the whole of scripture.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come on we want to show you that God really does change lives and forgives all who call upon the Lord. We don't care where you've been its where you're going God is interested in.
