    Tom "Ike Isaacson

I began my ministry at United Redeemer on March 1, 2005 and it has been one of the most meaningful calls that I have experienced in my 25 years of ordained ministry. Previously I have served congregations in Lake Mills and Waterloo, Iowa and in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. Before that I taught school at the Middle School level for approximately 13 years with most of those years in Waseca, Minnesota. It was there that I felt the call to ministry after working in my home church of Grace Lutheran in many different capacities. The same passion I felt going into seminary has not diminished one bit over the years.?My wife, Dianne and I have been blessed with two children and six grandchildren. The two children were in 5th and 2nd grades when we entered seminary so they have been part of this journey for most of their lives. Currently, Mike and his family live in Denver, Iowa and Stevanna and her family are in Charlotte, North Carolina. ?The Bible verses that have been meaningful for me are found in Psalm 121; the “Psalm of the Sojourner”, and John 15:16 “You did not chose me, but I chose you and I appointed you to go and bear much fruit.”?I would like to invite you to join in the faith journey of United Redeemer Lutheran Church and be part of a?Very welcoming and blessed Christian community.
