Who We Are

We're a small but active congregation along the shores of Long Island Sound, Ft. Trumbull beach in Milford, CT. The one thing visitors always say about us, "You really care about one another." After announcements, worship begins with an invitation for the congregation to first share any prayer concerns for friends, family, community & the world and then we celebrate the joys of the past week, a God-sighting or blessing that we wish to share. The congregation looks beyond outward appearances and embraces each person as a child of God. There is a professional signer for the hearing-impaired during worship the first & third Sundays. We offer our space for a public playgroup twice a week for all children, however, leaders are especially trained to work with special needs children so many attend.

Our Services

What are services like?
We follow the typical Presbyterian pattern of worship which is traditional. However, we are casual enough to "call an audible" or make changes even during worship. We know that worship is not about the details but rather the spirit. We have laypeople every week who volunteer to be Worship Assistants. We also have a few times a year a "contemporary service" where there are only guitars providing the music.

What is the community like?
Very friendly, welcoming, and carring. These are the three words we hear constantly from visitors and new members. We're a small congregation with a big heart!

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome to participate in worship, church school, fellowship activities. We are all on a journey of faith. If you are sincerely interested in what we believe and do, then come and watch and learn! Our pastor's door is always open to such conversations and questions about faith and life.
