    Ral Waltower
    Pastor

Ral Waltower was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he made an initial confession of faith at the early age of eleven. Unfortunately, upon entering the doors of college, as has happened all too often with many of our young adults, he put his faith in Jesus on the book shelf along with last semester’s books. However, through the humbling act of being broke and broken, God was able to get his attention and he made a full and serious rededication to the Lord Jesus in 1991. After fully submitting to the will of God, the Lord began to unfold His will for Ral Waltower's life. Also in 1991, he met his wife Shirley and after a 2 ½ year courtship, they married and recently celebrated 22 joyous years of marriage, during which God has blessed them with four beautiful daughters - Shayna, Mayah, RiAnna and Tia. Pastor Waltower was licensed in 2006, ordained in 2009 and later installed as a Campus Pastor in Atlanta, Ga. During these years the Lord began to shape a Pastoral call upon his life. In 2012 he acknowledged the call of the Holy Spirit and received the blessings of his spiritual father and was “sent” to do the Lord’s work as founder and senior pastor of True Gospel Christian Church (TGCC) in Macon, Georgia. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, True Gospel Christian Church now has a location in Malawi, Africa and TGCC McDonough will be opening its doors in the summer of 2016. Pastor Waltower is the author of his first book entitled, “Doing the Ordained Thing: You Were Created For This.” He has a God-given passion to see the true Body of Christ come together as one as well as to teach, preach and mentor so that others may grow in their relationship and walk with the Lord Jesus. He believes the best testimony a believer can give is to live the Word of God. He lovingly challenges those around him to grow and mature in their relationship with Christ. He has often said, "It is about building people and not building buildings.”
