Frank Gilliard
Senior Pastor

Rev. Dr. Frank Gilliard is first and foremost, a man of great faith. He began a close and intimate walk with God at an early age. As a young child, Frank Gilliard spent a great amount of time alone talking to God and meditating in quiet natural settings. He experienced God in many ways, and views his life as a walk with the Lord. His faith has been the catalyst through which many unattainable visions were made a reality. As a young pastor his faith and trust in God made it possible to rebuild an entire city block. His faith and trust in God, made it possible for the residents of Newark, NJ to own new homes throughout the city. Over a ten year period Frank Gilliard, led C.U.R.E a non-profit, affordable housing Corp. as it built 300 units of affordable housing for low-income residents. Pastor Gilliard earned a Master of Divinity Degree and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from the Oldest Protestant Seminary in North America, The New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Having his footsteps ordered by the Lord, Pastor Frank Gilliard came to Flint Michigan in 2008 with his wife Yvonne. He knows that coming to Flint was the will God. Since being in Flint, God has performed miracle upon miracle in his life and ministry. In 2009 Pastor Gilliard was presented a 1700 square feet church by the Michigan Region Disciples of Christ. They started Triumphant Temple of Praise Ministries in 2009, and Positive Start Child Development Center in 2010. Since that time, God has caused the Positive Start Child Care Center and Triumphant Temple of Praise Christian Church to grow and prosper. The Ministry now consist of a two facility campus, and is postured to grow into a dynamic organization for Christ over the next few years.
