Our Services

What to Expect

What are services like?
Worship follows a varied liturgical map to bring people into the presence of a forgiving God, and to listen to God's Word and receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Services mainly follow a printed format that is easy for regular worshipers and guests to follow. Music may be offered on an organ and the worship community singing traditional hymns or music may be played on a clavinova, along with others instruments, with a praise group leading songs that may be more contemporary. There are "Children's Messages" offered each Sunday by staff or volunteers. The service atmosphere is reverent but with the allowance for a humerous edge and audience feed back.

What is the community like?
The people who worship and carry on the Church's Gospel work at Trinity are a varied assembly of professional and non-professional folks. Demographically, we have a small percentage of retired, a large "baby boomer" representation, a healthy Gen X presence with high school age and elementary age children, and then a growing younger familiy segment with preschool age children. We are located in rural Douglas County with Parker, CO.; Castle Rock, CO.; and Elizabeth, CO., located within a 10 mile radius of our location. We enjoy thirty rolling acres of land that give us a great scenic panorama of the front range of The Rocky Mountains. People here are laid back, gregarious, out-going, fun loving, kind of people. There are ministry groups and fellowship groups within the church community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You're welcome to begin a conversation about the Christian faith with both pastoral staff and lay people of this church community. Depending on what you may be searching for: acceptance, community, identify, security, purpose, etc., we can assist you in looking into God's Word to see how God answers all our needs in His Son, Jesus Christ. We are not a church community that is organized nor staffed to offer the "true seeker" a whole lot of entry portals into the overall church community. They exist, but they are few in number. We can offer to walk with you and look to God's Word for guidance, direction, and truth in your journey exploring the Christian faith.
