What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship format follows the traditional liturgy that Christians have used for centuries, with words and songs right from the Bible (we put the Bible references in the Worship Guide so you can look them up). We also share four different scripture passages (Old Testament, Psalm, New Testament, and Gospel) each Sunday, and Pastor's preaching is a focused and concise (10-15 minutes) illustration and study on one of those texts. We appreciate creativity in sharing God's Word, giving Pastor and the Worship Team the freedom to nurture faith through visual illustrations, drama, weekly children's messages, and a great music ministry (including Choir, Kids' Choir, Chime Choir, small ensembles of vocalists or instrumentalists, and new hymns Pastor writes from time to time)! We also celebrate Holy Communion every week - it is a delight to receive our Lord Jesus in such a special way!

What is the community like?
Trinity is a friendly, loving community of people who love following Jesus! People are very likely to greet you and say hello, and our ushers are glad to help you find a seat. We also enjoy laughing and having a good time, and we do a lot of that during worship. Some people dress up for church, but most do not - we welcome you to come as you are!

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are curious about becoming a Christian, Pastor Micah is happy to talk with you and answer (or at least attempt to answer) any questions you have! We are currently developing our CrossWalk series of classes to guide you toward deep discipleship of Jesus. The classes will be held each year in the winter so that we can celebrate baptisms and the joining of new members just after Easter.
