About Us

Our Mission: to know Christ and make Him known.

Trinity is an active, friendly, growing Episcopal parish with a strong emphasis on Biblical teaching, music, children and youth, healing, outreach, and service. Our members come from Tariffville, Simsbury, Granby, East Granby, Avon, Suffield, Windsor and other surrounding towns.

The center of our parish life is our Sunday worship, and we offer three services each Sunday plus two during the week, each including careful attention to the Word of God and the celebration of Holy Communion.

We have active children and youth programs, and music is led by our three choirs: the traditional choir, the children's choir and the contemporary worship team. Various classes and bible studies meet weekly at the Trinity, and retreats on and off site are held periodically. Trinity also provides a Counseling and Spiritual Direction Center, and has an active healing ministry.

Trinity offers many opportunities for hands-on volunteering. We sponsor a medical mission in Kaduna Nigeria with our prayers, financial contributions, and yearly work trips, and thousands of people are able to receive medical care there each year. We serve lunch monthly to homeless in Bushnell Park and also prepare a dinner for a local shelter. We send teams to build houses with Habitat for Humanity and collect food for local food banks. We have an active veteran's ministry, nursing home ministry, teen ministry, and prison ministry.

Please join us in serving, in worship, or just stop by to say hello.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Sunday 8:00am service is quiet, contemplative, with no music. Sunday 9:45am service includes Sunday School for kids ages 3-high school, and music is provided by the traditional choir, children's choir, and the contemporary worship team. Sunday 5:00pm service in the chapel is a small, shorter service, with music led by music team members playing the piano, guitar, or harp.

What is the community like?
The church is a warm, friendly community who is there for each other in friendship and prayer. What if I'm not a Christian?
No matter where you are in your personal journey, you are welcome to come explore your faith at Trinity. Come worship with us, seek blessing, ask questions, attend a Bible study or class, and see where God leads you.
