Trinity Episcopal Church

About Us

A traditional Episcopal church welcoming to all.

Trinity is a mid-sized Episcopal parish serving the city and surrounding counties of Fredericksburg, Virginia. We hold worship services weekly on Sundays at 8 a.m. (Rite I), 9:15 a.m. (Rite II), and 11 a.m. (Rite II), as well as once a month on the first Saturday at 5 p.m. We have active ministries for children, youth, and adults, including a Sunday School program, Middle and High School Youth Groups, a chapter of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, the St. Margaret's Guild of the Episcopal Church Women, an EfM (Education for Ministry) group, and a chapter of the Daughters of the King. We also sponsor an Episcopal campus ministry for college students at the University of Mary Washington.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are traditional Episcopal worship from the Book of Common Prayer in a broad church style. Our 8 o'clock Sunday service is a spoken service with traditional Elizabethan language and a traditional sermon. Our 9:15 AM Sunday service is geared towards families with an easy-to-follow service, less formal sermon, traditional and gospel hymns, and contemporary language. Our 11 o'clock Sunday service is a traditional service with contemporary language, a formal sermon, and hymns led by a choir. We also have a contemporary, informal, "come as you are service" on the first Saturday of each month at 5 PM with music led by a band.

What is the community like?
Friendly, inclusive, and welcoming!
