Bohdan Vadis

Pastor Bohdan Vadis was born in Bemidji, Minnesota. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, and a Master of Divinity from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. Pastor Bohdan is passionate about Bible Study and helping people open God’s Word and apply it to their lives. Coming to understand the message of Scripture and helping others understand God’s plan and purpose contained in the Bible has been central to Pastor Bohdan’s ministry and work as a pastor. Along with Biblical Preaching and leading Bible Study, Pastor Bohdan feels that taking church members on pilgrimage (to the Holy Land and following the footsteps of Paul) are key ways in helping unlock the words of scripture and walk alongside church members as they grow in discipleship. Growing up in Minnesota Pastor Bohdan enjoys playing hockey and fishing, and he can regularly be found on the ice or the water in San Diego on his day off. Pastor Bohdan has also served as pastor at Messiah Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota, and at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Sacramento, California.
