What to Expect

What are services like?
Every Sunday at Village Church is unique! We have a group of dedicated liturgy writers who create worship services that address themes that are pertinent to our every day lives, Scripturally-based, and sometimes based on books such as "The Lorax" or "The Grapes of Wrath." We sing both contemporary and traditional hymns and are accompanied by the piano and flute. All are welcome at Holy Communion which we celebrate every Sunday.

What is the community like?
We are a genuinely welcoming community, open to all, including the LGBT community. With a commitment to the arts, we are a creative community and we are passionate about social justice. We have a food pantry in our building, serving the hungry in our community two days a week, and we host a Christmas Eve dinner every year for our food pantry guests.

What if I'm not a Christian?
When we say, "All are welcome at Village Church," we mean it! If you are not a Christian, are exploring, are asking questions, you are welcome here and we invite your participation in all aspects of our life together.
