John Werhas

John Werhas is a Hall of Fame athlete from USC. After graduation he played professional baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Anaheim Angels. John and his wife, Kay, developed Victory Ministry, providing Bible studies and chapels for professional athletes and their families in Southern California. John then served as senior pastor of Yorba Linda Friends Church for seventeen years. In November 2003, John founded The Rock Community Church. Nine years later, through the faithful preaching of the Bible “line upon line,” lives continue to be changed for Christ. John and Kay have been happily married for over thirty years, and have two children and four grandchildren.
