Dr. Trudie Trimm-Foote

Apostle Dr. Trudie L. Trimm Foote' was born 2nd generation ministry to Rev. Charles Otha Trimm and Dr. Trudie U. Trimm. Her father was the founder and pastor of The New Testament M.B. Church. Her mother was a committeewoman who took the torch and became the 1st female pastor accepted in the National Baptist Incorporation. She is the baby born 20yrs. later while her big brothers were serving our country in World War II. She was the apple of their eye. Even while in the womb, her mother knew she would be chosen and exalted by God. From her mother, she was taught to be God fearing and admonish the Lord. Apostle Trudie was always recognized for her outstanding academic performance and commitment to equality in the school system. As a (PK) preacher's kid, she learned first hand administrative skills and how to be an ambassador for the Kingdom. Her educational journey includes Fisk University (concentration: education), Bachelors of Education and Psychology/Sociology from DePaul University, (Masters of Medieval Thematic Studies) from St. Xavier University ,and a Doctoral degree in (Apologetics) from Southern Bible Seminary. In 1967, Apostle Trudie was ordained and received confirmation from the Lord to marry Mr. Lonnie P. Foote' and they were blessed with 2 lovely daughters. Her daughters are currently working along side her as Co Pastor's Trudie III and Co-Pastor Fannieleah (Sergeant C. Brown) . Carrying out the Great Commission, and believing in operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and aligned herself and the church to Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop Paul S. Morton in 1993. As an active pastor and Covenant Partner, Apostle Trudie has held the position of State Advisor for Daughters of the Promise (DOP), State Director of DOP, and Spiritual Mother of our beloved State Bishop Victor Agee (Illinois) . Throughout the state Apostle Trudie is affectionately known as and called "Mamma Foote' the Mother of Zion. Connection and Community are two important elements to building God's people therefore, Pastor Foote' is active with the Westside clergy, Chicago Lawn assoc. and CAPS program, and Clergy of the 8th District. Pastor Trudie is also affiliated with the LFC-(AEN) Labourers for Christ Apostolic Ecumenical Network under Apostle Shaunette Houghton, which is a community network of kingdom churches and ministries, where she was elevated to an Apostle. She is an active TITHING member of Sweet Holy Spirit Church where her Pastor and Spiritual Father is Bishop Larry D. Trotter. In her leisure she enjoys reading and traveling. She is an avid reader of volumes of literature. Her travels have included Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, and Wyoming. Outside of the U.S. She has been to Rome and Milan, Italy, London, England, Paris, France, Athens and Patmos, Greece, Jerusalem, the Caribbean Islands, Jamaica, Nassau Bahamas, and Mexico. Apostle Foote' embraces many roles. She is a mother, grandmother of Darius, Nicholas, and Livia. She is an aunt, pastor, and matriarch in the Trimm family. Apostle Foote' believes that praising God is KEY: She is not ashamed of the Gospel! Often you will hear Apostle voice confirm that we are walkers of faith and we are mounted up as eagles. Apostle Foote' is a well rounded pastor whom is loved and well respected.
